Monkeyball World Championship

In this season of the Olympics, and athletic greatness, we are happy to say Andy and I made it to this year's world Monkeyball Championship. My sister, Kristin and her boyfriend, Jeremy also made the cut... Andy improved his WORLD ranking from 7th to 5th, my ranking moved from a sweet 91st to 63rd :( Jeremy from 12th to 4th, and the medal for the most improved player goes to Kristin, from 122nd place to 61st!! Rock on Kris! Andy and I have some disputes about Kristin and Jeremy being ahead of both of us now in the World rankings, but we will take that up with Frush, the Monkeyball Commissioner :) It was a great, hot day filled with friends, fun and a little healthy competition. Let the great Monkeyball mayhem continue!!

Bierlein Reunion Pictures

Dressler Family Reunion

July 25th-27th we had our wonderful Bierlein Family reunion in Utica, Illinois. Aunt Mary and Uncle Joel did a fantastic job arranging everything... complete with fun filled gift baskets! It was a great weekend of spending time with family, the indoor amusement and water parks, walks, and lots of food. Maeve and Noah had the most fun, running around our cabin together, jumping on the beds, and their very favorite... riding the shuttle train all around the resort (many times). It was fun and tiring just watching them run around! :) We wish we could have spent more time with the extended family, but everyone was in the same boat with young kids, schedules, and trying to keep adequate sleep/nap schedules! It was a great time and the perfect little weekend vacation! Thank you Aunt Mary and Uncle Joel for all the planning, it was wonderful! We can hardly wait for our next reunion in 2 years!

Up close with a Fire Truck!

We visited our friends, Angie and Ryan Schiller (and Addison too) in Hart a few weeks ago and had a great time catching up... and since Uncle Ryan is a fantastic Fireman, he took Noah to see his first real Fire Truck up close... he was a little timid at first, but had a good time ringing the bell, looking inside, and using the real flashlight that firemen use... he wasn't real fond of the real sirens up close... but overall I would say it made a lasting impression since every time we hear or see a firetruck, Noah says "Uncle Ryan took me to a REAL fire truck!" Thanks Uncle Ryan! :)

Mini Vacation

My parents brought my sister Kim to Grand Rapids for her own little mini vacation a few weeks ago and while they were here, the boys and I tagged along on some of the fun... we went to the John Ball Zoo were Noah enjoyed all the exotic animals... the lions, monkeys, baby goats and his favorite feeding the ducks :) We also joined them at their private pool...Noah was a little unsure, but had fun anyway. As long as Papa was there he was having fun! Boy does he love his Nana and Papa!! Bring on those mini vacations anytime!!
