Definitely his mother's son...

Noah and I made brownies Thursday afternoon and after they were put in the oven I turned around and someone had conveniently found the brownie batter bowl. He enjoyed licking the bowl clean...I noticed a little had dropped on his jeans, I said, " let me clean it up for you..." as I grabbed the cloth, I turned back to find MY son leaning over licking his jeans :) "What are you doing Noah?" I asked. "Bownee badder on jeans, mama. I got it!" He definitely is his mother's son (and grandfather's grandson) :)

Best dollar spent in a while...

We have had a wonderful Friday night and Saturday... well Noah wasn't feeling great Friday, so he chose jammies to wear to bed for his nap and didn't want to change the rest of the day... he also was asked by his daddy what sounded good to him for dinner... he quickly answered without hesitation "fench fies"... so off we went as a family with our cute little man in his jammies and blue fleece to get "fench fies". We sure are suckers when our cute little man isn't feeling 100%. Saturday was much better for Noah... Benjamin and Noah got to hang out with daddy while I went to a few garage sales... then Noah and I had the chance to cuddle after his nap and then he found a wonderful green truck waiting for him, (a great garage sale find) which he responded with, "wow, fun". :) The rest of the afternoon was spent pushing the green truck everywhere mom and dad went... it is so handy! It can carry rocks, sticks, other cars, and so much more!! It truly was the best dollar I have spent in a while!! :)

Start Blogging

Well, I finally decided to join all of my friends who are blogging and start a family blog. Hopefully this will keep our family and friends up on our daily crazy, busy lives... did I say daily...for all those who know me you know I should say HOPEFULLY weekly posts. As you know our lives are a little busier now since baby brother Benjamin joined our family in March. We are loving him... and will hopefully soon be loving him on a regular napping schedule :) All of you moms know what I mean... it is amazing what I can do in 15 minutes all to myself :) Benjamin is almost 9 weeks old and is growing bigger daily. He was 11#15 oz. at his 2 month appointment which is one pound larger then his brother at that age and almost twice his birth weight. He loves to "talk" to us with coos and smiles... it is so much fun seeing him become more expressive everyday! Noah is now 28 months and full of all boy energy. He makes us laugh daily with his cute vocabulary and silly boy ways. Just yesterday I said, "Noah, your daddy is home" and he answered with "that's exciting mom". What 2 year old boy says that? He loves his little brother and insists on kissing him every night before bedtime, (also a stalling tactic). We do love our boys!
Well off to start dinner. I look forward to blogging and all the excitement that awaits me :) Thanks for letting us be a part of your day!
