I love my Thumb!

Benjamin is definitely a thumb boy! He easily slides that hand up to his mouth and his little thumb pops right in... how cute is he? At least he can sooth himself :)It comes in quite handy!

I'm a Big Boy Rolling over!

Last night Benjamin was making some noise, which is uncommon for him since he usually sleeps from 7:30pm until 7ish am (yeah), so I went into his room and he had rolled over in bed! He was trying to find his hand since it was not in it's usual position... he was so cute. So our little man has made the big first roll! Our little man is growing up! He also enjoys grabbing and batting at his toys and sitting in his "bumbo" seat overseeing me as I make meals or clean up the kitchen. Getting so big!

Yum, ice cream!

I am a little late posting, due to a crazy week, but better late then never :) Last week we had our friends Juleen, Conner, and Baby Morgan over to play. It was a nice hot day so we had the sprinklers, on a little pool, and best of all great ice cream! The babies slept most of the time, but Benjamin fit in a little time to flirt with Aunt Juleen!:)

My Baby Sister Graduated

I can't believe the last of us five sisters has graduated! I feel old now! We were excited to celebrate with Kendra during her graduation and open house these last few weekends. She is leaving today for Mexico (tear) for a year, to complete an internship with Caravan Ministries, building homes for those in need. She will be leading youth groups, or other groups who come to Mexico on mission trips. We are so proud of her and her braveness to follow God where ever He leads her. She plans on attending Liberty University in the fall of 2009 to pursue a degree in Spanish, Nursing, and Missions in some form. Keep her in your prayers! My baby sister graduated!! :)

Memorial Day: Kristin's Birthday

Memorial day this year happened to be my sister, Kristin's birthday as well, so we spent the day relaxing, eating, celebrating, and participating in an official Monkeyball tournament. It was a warm and humid day to say the least, but we beat the heat by spending time inside in the air condition while eating and playing Jeremy's Wii. The Monkeyball tournament, named "Grass Rule Invitational" was an exciting one which displayed "mad" Monkeyball skills :) It was tough competition... Dad and Andy (ranked 6th in the world) battled it out with Andy pulling out the difficult victory. Dad went easy on him I think :) A special thanks goes out to Nana for taking care of Benjamin most of the day while his parents played around. You are wonderful and we love you very much. And to the Birthday Girl, we love you and hope all your birthday wishes come true.;)

Denyes Picnic

Family Picnic

I am a little behind with posting... it has been a crazy week and I started work again, so I will try to keep up...bare with me :) May 24th we got together with my Dad's side of the family and had a great time. We played Monkeyball (see www.playmonkeyball.com for more details), ate lots of great food, and caught up on all of the busy activities of life. The great grandkids had fun playing together...We can thank Grandma and Grandpa for their love starting all of this... a wonderful family!
